Mini Cooper makes a fresh appearance for 2007

The new Mini Cooper makes an appearance after being a tremendous sales success for BMW Group. Featuring an all-new platform, the all new Mini Cooper is expected to have an improved chassis compared to the outgoing model. Besides a new drivetrain, the new car also gets a whole new re-designed 4 cylinder engines in 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre guises. This is expected to be the new selling point for the new car as exterior-wise, not much of the Mini has changed and it looks more like a facelift rather than a whole new car. Nothing really bad, especially when the present outgoing Mini is already such an attractive car in its own right.

The exterior of the new Mini is garnished with a wider front grille and redesigned headlights cluster. In addition foglights are integrated into the lower front bumpers. The Mini would now be longer than the outgoing model but is still expected to retain its front short overhangs.

The interior of the car receives much more attention in the re-design. With better quality materials and finishings for its controls, the new Mini showcases a class-leading quality interior. Circles and round shapes still dominate the dahsboard of the new Mini and a much more domineering central speedometer is the main attraction. This is because all entertainment and radio controls are integrated within this circular cluster, making the centre console more spacious. To top it off, the new Mini's key is a round key fob and owners can look forward to the 'Start/Stop' button that have graced BMW models.
