Rolls Royce rolls out Black edition of Phantom

What else could be more exclusive than a Rolls-Royce? A limited edition one of course. The BMW-owned English carmaker will commision 25 hand-built bespoke cars called Phantom Black. These special edition models will feature high lustre metallic Diamond Black paint complemented by twin silver coach lines. Alloy wheels will be 21-inches and all 4 comes fitted with high performance Goodyear run flat tyres and will showcase unique black detailing and centre caps with RR badges, engineered to stay upright even at speed. The rear of the Phantom Black, chrome tail pipes hint at the car's performance.

The 6.75 litre V12 engine under the bonnet has not been spared either as it is treated to gloss black inlet manifolds, chrome plated top covers and new black Rolls-Royce badges. As befitting a Rolls, the engine is one of the most silent and yet powerful enough to propel the Phantom Black from 0-60 mph in just 5.7 seconds and on to a limited top speed of 149mph.

Black being the theme is continued within, as soft black leather upholstery rimmed with Seashell piping graces the seats. Natural black ash wood veneers with glimmers of the grains are used throughout. The dashboar, meanwhile is finished in special black metal foil with a finely embossed diamond pattern. A slightly thicker rimmed steering wheel adds to the dynamic spirit of the Phantom Black.
